    Student Council

The School Council is a representation of school students, one from each Tutor Group, who meet to talk about school and student issues. The Tutor Representative is elected by the Tutor Group in September, as is a reserve representative, in case the elected rep is unable to attend.

The meetings are chaired by the Head Girl and Head Boy, or their deputies and attended by the Headteacher and other Senior Staff.

The Student Council discusses issues raised by students about all aspects of the school and debates on key student issues.  The Council also has a small budget which it can allocate to projects it feels are worthwhile.

The School Council meetings are scheduled throughout the year.

Meetings are scheduled so that every half term the year group will meet to discuss relevant year issues before attending a whole school meeting two weeks later to put forward idea and issues to be discussed.
