Voice in a Million
On Thursday 21 March 2019, 28 of our students took part in Voice in a Million (VIAM) - the choir that makes a difference
VIAM is a commercial organisation which helps raise awareness of children in care around the world. The show acts as a platform to encourage other to consider adoption or fostering as a life choice and our students help make a difference to the lives of children less fortunate than themselves. Over 5000 pupils from schools across the country took part, singing collectively in front of a live audience, and was also broadcasted on VIAM TV through their website. Students sang songs including: What about Us, Skin, All of Me, Believer as well as songs from the Greatest Showman which were added to the VIAM repertoire this year.
The school choir worked incredibly hard in after-school rehearsals to prepare for the event, and the day was an incredible success. Students even had the opportunity to have photos and autographs with the guest acts who were performing, which they were thoroughly pleased with.
