Admissions

Hampshire County Council is the admission authority for all community and voluntary controlled primary and secondary schools in the area. The Governors’ Admissions Policy is as recommended by the Local Authority.

To find out about the admissions process and apply for a school place for either Year 7 or an In-Year application, please click here to access the Admission Home Page on the Hampshire County Council website.

If you are interested in applying for an In-Year place for your child we are happy to discuss this with you, provide a tour and help you with any admissions advice. Please contact either Chris Rice (Headteacher) or Suzanne Henry (his PA) directly on 01256 322691.

The published admission Number (PAN) for Aldworth School for each year group in 2023–2024 is 200. The School is fully accessible for physically disabled students.

Aldworth School is the designated secondary school for students attending:

Kempshott Junior School

Park View Junior School

A change in catchment areas reduced us to two feeder schools. Therefore we have sufficient places for students from other junior and primary schools.

We currently receive pupils from the following primary and junior schools with whom we have links:-

School Name
Castle Hill
Marnel
Chalk Ridge
Merton
Chiltern
Oakley
Fairfields
South View
Hatch Warren
St John’s
Kings Furlong
St Mark’s
Manor Field
Winklebury

For Year 7 applications, we would invite you to arrange a visit and join us at one of our Open Events

Click here for information on our School Day and explore our website further.

Our Prospectus provides an overview of our approach at Aldworth. Please take the time to browse through it.

Once your application is successful we will make contact with you and invite you to join our ‘Set for 7’ programme.  Alongside this, our team visit the feeder primary schools and meet with our future students’ and their current teachers to ensure that we know a little about each child before they arrive.

Thank you for showing an interest in joining Aldworth School and we look forward to welcoming you to our school in the near future.
